Our Philosophy:
We are committed helping students own their faith in Jesus. Relationships are at the heart of what we do. We want to use those relationships to help students to take the next step in thier relationship with Jesus. We understand that people (not just teenagers) are all over the board when it comes to their spiritual lives. We hope to always minister to those who do not know Christ as their personal Savior, those who grew up in the church all of their lives and everyone in between. As we grow and lead students, we are seeking to apply God's Word to every area of our/their lives. As we take the gospel of Jesus into our community, we are dedicated to doing it with love, courage and wisdom. Our goal is God’s glory. Ultimately we seek to make disciples who make disciples. Our prayer is that God would grant us exponential spiritual and numeric growth. We will not stop praying, pursuing, and pushing until He does just that.
Our Process:
The process for how we are seeking to accomplish the above reflects the churches three step process. We are seeking to develop environments for our students to grow in their intimacy with Jesus. We are participating in our weekly Sunday AM Worship services as well as weekly teaching gatherings on Wednesday nights where we seek the study and application of God’s Word. One of the big moves this year will be the beginning of small group ministry. We are seeking to change our Sunday morning environment into a small group ministry that will meet for the purpose of relational and intentional discipleship. Finally we are seeking to equip our students to influence their communities for Jesus. The Dare2Share conference is a key annual event and tool for equipping us in this step of the process.
